Job Overview A respected mid-sized law firm is currently seeking a qualified Oil & Gas Title Associate Attorney to join its team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position is ideal for a licensed attorney with experience in oil and gas title examination, and a strong command of title law as it relates to the energy sector. The role offers an opportunity to work on a variety of title opinions and transactions in a collaborative and established legal environment.

Duties
Prepare original, supplemental, and division order title opinions for oil and gas clients
Review and analyze title documents, leases, assignments, deeds, and other land-related instruments
Conduct due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, and leasehold evaluations
Draft and review title curative documents and provide related legal counsel
Interpret Oklahoma oil and gas statutes and regulations to ensure compliance
Advise clients on surface and mineral rights, leasehold interests, and drilling operations
Communicate findings and title issues to clients in a clear, organized manner
Collaborate with other attorneys and land professionals on energy transactions
Requirements
Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in oil and gas title examination
Strong knowledge of Oklahoma title and real property law
Ability to interpret complex legal documents with accuracy
Exceptional attention to detail and legal writing skills
Self-motivated and capable of working independently or within a team
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications
Active license to practice law in the State of Oklahoma (required)
