Duties

• Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings and correspondence related to family law cases.
• Offer tailored legal counsel and strategic planning to clients, ensuring their rights are protected.
• Represent clients in court, advocating for their interests in divorce, custody, and related family law matters.
• Manage family law cases independently, from consultation through to trial.
• Collaborate with fellow attorneys and staff to ensure a high standard of client service and case management.
• Contribute to the firm’s overall success through teamwork and innovation.

Requirements

• Admission to practice law in the state of New Jersey.
• At least 3+ years of experience in family law practice.
• Proven trial experience in family law cases.
• Strong written, research, and analytical skills.
• Self-motivation and exceptional organizational abilities.
• Preferred: an existing book of business.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
