Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in labor and employment law matters
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to employment law issues
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts
  • Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and litigation proceedings
  • Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Conduct investigations into employment-related complaints and allegations
  • Provide training to clients on employment law topics
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the State Bar of Arizona or eligibility for admission via reciprocity
  • 2-7 years of experience in labor and employment law or civil litigation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and adversaries
  • Exceptional writing and analytical abilities
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Initiative to take ownership of cases and tasks
  • Significant litigation experience is a plus
