Job Overview:
A reputable law firm based in Spring, TX, is seeking a motivated and dynamic entry-level attorney to join their Estate Planning team. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in estate planning, business, and tax law, with exposure to a variety of clients and complex legal matters. The firm is looking for an attorney who is eager to learn, develop professionally, and grow within the firm. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced legal environment.

Duties:

  • Work directly with clients on a wide range of estate planning matters, including drafting estate planning documents, handling probate cases, and presenting estate plans.
  • Assist in creating and marketing business and tax planning concepts through written content, white papers, and speaking engagements.
  • Conduct legal research to support client cases and present solutions aligned with client goals.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide tailored opportunities and strategies to clients.
  • Gain experience and guidance in all aspects of estate planning, including document creation, client interaction, and plan execution.

Requirements:

  • Graduate in the top 40% of law school class.
  • 0-3 years of experience.
  • Strong consideration is given to applicants who are in the process of obtaining Texas Bar admission or are already licensed and in good standing in Texas.
  • An LL.M. in Taxation is highly preferred, but candidates with a background in business-related fields such as accounting or finance will also be considered.
  • Strong written, verbal, and analytical communication skills.
  • Ability to manage client relationships with professionalism and confidence in a fast-paced setting.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to take initiative on client matters.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Texas Bar or eligibility for timely admission.

Skills:

  • Exceptional writing, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and partners.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail and deadlines.
