Associate Attorney needed for Richmond office

Location:

Duties:

• Manage a caseload that includes premises liability, employment, automobile, fraud, coverage, construction defect, and workers' compensation matters
• Develop and implement defense strategies
• Lead discovery processes and client interactions
• Work directly with clients and take on case management responsibilities
• Prepare cases for trial, including drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Collaborate with team members to ensure successful outcomes
• Participate in the trial process and present cases in court
• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in civil litigation
• Ability to think critically and communicate effectively
• Strong problem-solving and case management skills
• Comfortable working directly with clients and managing their own cases
• Willingness to collaborate in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the firm

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Virginia
