Associate Attorney Insurance Defense (Hybrid/Remote Option)

Duties:

• Manage an active caseload under the guidance of senior attorneys.

• Draft motions, pleadings, and status reports.

• Conduct depositions and represent clients in court proceedings.

• Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on case developments.

• Maintain organized case files and ensure timely case progress.

Requirements:

• At least two (2) years of experience in insurance defense litigation.

• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Ability to handle multiple cases efficiently while meeting deadlines.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and court interactions.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Connecticut State Bar (Required).

• Admission to the New York State Bar is a plus.

Skills:

• Expertise in litigation procedures and case strategy.

• Proficiency in legal drafting and document review.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.

• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.

Work Setting & Schedule:

• Full-time position based in White Plains, NY.

• Hybrid or fully remote schedule available.
