Job Overview:

The Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney will defend clients in various insurance defense matters, including personal injury, property damage claims, product liability, construction litigation, toxic torts defense, premises liability, and transportation law.

Job Duties:

• Research complex legal issues and provide timely analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate closely with other attorneys and support staff on case strategies and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court appearances, client meetings, and depositions.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and strategy updates.

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of experience in Insurance Defense Litigation.
• Extensive experience with personal injury and property damage claims defense, including product liability, construction litigation, toxic torts defense, premises liability, and transportation law.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Maryland (MD) is required.
• Admission to practice in other jurisdictions, such as Washington D.C. or Virginia (VA), is a plus.
• Strong academic credentials with excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
