Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced and dedicated Family Law Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. Duties

• Represent clients in family law matters, including custody disputes, divorce proceedings, and other related legal cases.

• Provide strategic legal counsel, ensuring clients understand their rights and options.

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other court filings.

• Advocate for clients in court appearances and hearings.

• Supervise and collaborate with paralegals, law clerks, and support staff.

• Manage multiple cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Active Minnesota Bar license and in good standing.

• Minimum of one year of experience practicing family law.

• Strong courtroom and litigation experience.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• High ethical standards and a strong professional reputation.

• Ability to adapt to a fast-moving legal practice while maintaining attention to detail.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Minnesota State Bar.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research abilities.

• Experience with legal practice management software (preferred but not required).
