Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on various legal issues.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and draft briefs on complex legal topics.
  • Review, analyze, and suggest modifications for legal contracts and documents.
  • Manage discovery processes involving electronically stored data and physical documents.
  • Offer legal advice regarding business transactions, claims, and liabilities.
  • Represent clients in legal proceedings, including court appearances and government hearings.
  • Develop legal strategies and arguments for case presentation.
  • Interview clients and witnesses to collect relevant facts and evidence.
  • Research public and legal records to write legal opinions and address case complexities.
  • Collaborate with legal specialists to verify and build case foundations.
  • Maintain consistent client communication under the guidance of supervising attorneys.
  • Perform administrative and case management tasks as needed.
  • Participate in special projects and other assigned duties.
  • Ensure compliance with all firm policies and legal regulations.

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of California.
  • Ability to manage a wide variety of legal cases including litigation, contracts, and regulatory issues.
  • Proficiency in providing strategic legal advice and counsel.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Member of the California State Bar, with an active license to practice.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client consultation and legal argumentation.
  • Exceptional legal research and analytical skills.
  • Organizational ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Attention to detail, particularly in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
