A law firm in San Antonio, TX, is seeking an Intermediate Litigation Compliance Attorney to oversee audits and case reviews, ensure adherence to firm policies, and address compliance issues within assigned teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in compliance, personal injury law, and excellent communication skills.

Duties:

  • Perform audits and case reviews for assigned teams to ensure adherence to firm policies and procedures.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with assigned teams to monitor compliance with firm policies, procedures, and deadlines.
  • Identify and address areas of non-compliance within teams, providing guidance and corrective actions as needed.
  • Review case documentation and legal procedures to ensure compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
  • Provide recommendations for improving compliance practices and procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, including the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Rules of Evidence.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed attorney in the US, in good standing.
  • Working knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Rules of Evidence.
  • 0-3 years of personal injury experience.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing with a U.S. state bar.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of legal compliance and audit processes.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.
  • Proficiency in legal research and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
