Product, Tort, and Insurance Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks an associate attorney with 2-4 years of litigation experience to join its Product, Tort, and Insurance Litigation Practice Group in Santa Ana, CA. The successful candidate will have experience managing written discovery, and depositions, drafting pleadings and motions, attending mediations and court appearances, and assisting in trials. Duties:

• Conduct written discovery and depositions.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other substantive legal documents.
• Attend mediations, court hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Assist in trial preparation and participate in trials as needed.
• Perform legal research and draft supporting memoranda.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client representation.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of litigation experience, with a focus on product liability, tort, or insurance litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Experience in handling written discovery, depositions, and drafting motions.
• Ability to manage court appearances, mediations, and trial support.
• A strong academic background and attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California, in good standing.

Skills:

• Proficiency in litigation processes, including discovery, motion drafting, and trial preparation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
