Duties:

  • Handle employment litigation matters in both federal and state court, as well as before the EEOC and local human rights agencies.
  • Develop legal strategies, draft pleadings, and take or defend depositions.
  • Argue motions and represent clients in hearings.
  • Provide legal counsel on workplace compliance, including best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Work independently and manage a caseload efficiently, with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in employment law, specifically in litigation.
  • Strong track record of handling employment-related disputes, including working with federal and state agencies.
  • Proven ability to develop case strategies and manage litigation through all phases.
  • Ability to independently manage complex matters and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice in Connecticut. New York admission is preferred.
