Duties:

  • Handle a significant volume of cases related to creditors' rights and real estate law.
  • Manage discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.
  • Represent clients in court appearances, with potential for travel.
  • Provide support in appellate matters.
  • Build relationships and contribute to the firm’s growth and reputation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide top-tier legal representation and client support.

Requirements:

  • Active membership in good standing with the Illinois Bar.
  • Applications accepted from newly licensed attorneys, though 5+ years of litigation experience is preferred.
  • Ability to manage a significant case volume efficiently.
  • Experience in discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.
  • Appellate experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop relationships and grow the firm’s presence.
  • Familiarity with the Illinois legal system and commitment to superior client support.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Illinois State Bar is required.
  • Additional Bar licenses are a plus.
