A law firm in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Mid-level to Senior Private Wealth Planning Associate Attorney with 4+ years of experience in high-net-worth wealth planning. The successful candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, outstanding academic credentials, and experience managing projects and client contacts. Strong knowledge of estate and gift tax strategies and laws is essential. Preferred candidates will have experience in estate planning from law or accounting firms and are currently enrolled in or have completed a related LL.M. program. Applicants must hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the California Bar.

 

Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive estate planning services to high-net-worth clients.
  • Develop and implement sophisticated estate and gift tax strategies.
  • Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Advise clients on wealth preservation and asset protection strategies.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop innovative planning solutions.
  • Manage client relationships and provide exceptional client service.
  • Stay updated on changes in estate and gift tax laws and regulations.
  • Mentor junior associates and support staff.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California in good standing.
  • 4+ years of experience in high-net-worth wealth planning.
  • Strong knowledge of estate and gift tax strategies and laws.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding academic credentials.
  • Experience managing projects and client contacts.
  • Enrollment in or completion of a related LL.M. program preferred.
  • Law firm or accounting firm experience in estate planning preferred.
