Duties:

  • Prepare, draft, and file patent applications, including detailed claims and specifications.
  • Prosecute patent applications by responding to office actions, attending interviews, and managing the application process.
  • Conduct thorough technical analyses related to wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, and computer networking.
  • Perform prior art searches and provide patentability opinions and strategies.
  • Collaborate with inventors, clients, and legal teams to develop effective patent strategies and manage patent portfolios.
  • Review and interpret technical documentation and patent filings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Offer technical and legal advice on patent-related issues and intellectual property matters.
  • Prepare and present status reports and updates on patent applications and strategies.
  • Stay informed about recent developments in patent law and advancements in relevant technical fields.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in patent prosecution.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
  • Proven technical expertise in wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, or computer networking.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prepare and prosecute patent applications.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
