Duties:

• Represent clients in labor and employment matters, including both individual and class action litigation.

• Handle cases involving employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, leaves of absence, wage and hour compliance, and unfair competition.

• Advise employers on personnel policies, employee accommodations, employment agreements, and more.

• Provide strategic legal counsel to businesses of all sizes, helping them navigate complex labor laws and regulations.

• Engage in discovery, depositions, and trial preparation as part of litigation teams.

• Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in labor and employment law.

• Strong litigation experience with a focus on employment law, including class actions.

• Knowledge of wage and hour laws and issues is highly preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and take ownership of projects.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.

• Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be a member in good standing with the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong research and writing skills.

• Proficiency in using legal research tools and technology.

• Client-focused with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
