Duties:

  • Drafting primary deal documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Leading complex diligence processes to ensure thorough analysis and risk assessment.
  • Managing deals from inception to completion, including coordinating with internal specialist teams and overseeing junior associates.
  • Cultivating and maintaining client relationships through regular communication and delivering high-quality work products.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
  • 5-7 years of experience in general corporate practice, focusing on private equity, capital markets, securities, and/or mergers and acquisitions.
  • Proven track record of managing complex transactions and leading diligence processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Prior experience in managing junior associates is preferred but not required.
