Mid-Level Corporate Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Mid-Level Corporate Attorney with 4-8 years of experience to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate and transactional law, including preparation and negotiation of a variety of corporate documents. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and negotiate corporate and transactional documents, including entity formation and governance documents, operating agreements, supply agreements, purchase agreements, compliance documents, and merger and acquisition documents.
• Represent clients in the negotiation of business transactions of all types.
• Interact effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic legal advice.
• Manage multiple transactions and legal matters simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Contribute to business development efforts and participate in firm marketing activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve optimal outcomes in various legal matters.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting corporate transactions.

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on transactional work.
• Proven ability to handle complex corporate and transactional matters.
• Strong business development experience is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for admission.
