Mid To Senior-Level Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Fresno, CA, seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney to manage and oversee complex litigation cases, ensuring high-quality representation and strategic counsel for clients.

Duties:

• Handle a diverse caseload of complex litigation matters, including commercial disputes, civil rights cases, and employment litigation.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to develop case strategies and ensure effective client representation.
• Conduct client meetings, depositions, and negotiations as necessary.
• Stay updated on legal developments and changes in the law that may impact ongoing cases.

Requirements:

• 6-8 years of litigation experience, focusing on handling complex legal issues and high-stakes litigation matters.
• Proven experience in trial preparation, including witness interviews, evidence gathering, and case strategy development.
• Excellent understanding of courtroom procedures and the ability to effectively present cases before judges and juries.
• Strong case management skills with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain organized documentation.
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
• Must be in good standing with the CA State Bar and possess an active license to practice law in California.
