Commercial Litigation Associate

Job Overview:

Location:

Duties:

• Draft legal memoranda, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Appear and argue before the court on behalf of clients.
• Draft and respond to written discovery requests.
• Take and defend depositions in commercial litigation matters.
• Manage smaller matters with limited supervision.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys on larger, more complex commercial litigation matters.
• Contribute to the development and execution of litigation strategies.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Experience in drafting motions, legal research, and court appearances.
• Ability to draft and respond to discovery requests and take depositions.
• Proven ability to manage smaller cases with limited supervision.
• Strong academic background.
• Enthusiasm and commitment to developing a successful legal career.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in Indiana.

Skills:

• Expertise in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
