A prominent law firm in Fort Worth is seeking an Entry-Level Immigration Attorney to join its growing legal team. As an Entry-Level Immigration Attorney, you will manage a caseload, collaborate with senior attorneys, and work directly with clients. Duties

• Provide clear explanations of immigration laws and present strategic solutions to clients.
• Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals, both for detained and non-detained individuals.
• Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload of immigration cases.
• Conduct intakes and visits with detained individuals at detention centers.
• Prepare and file a variety of immigration applications, including removal defense, family-based immigration petitions, and other USCIS applications.
• Review immigration applications and ensure they are complete and accurate.
• Engage with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations to stay informed on changes in immigration law.
• Meet with prospective clients for strategic consultations and devise appropriate legal strategies.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings, including USCIS testimony and court proceedings.
• Analyze cases and advise clients on potential legal benefits.
• Draft and submit legal briefs for various immigration-related cases.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in immigration law.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to client service.
• Proven ability to manage and move cases forward efficiently.
• Experience with Family-Based Petitions, EOIR, Detained cases, Citizenship applications, and other USCIS-related matters.
• Proficiency in case management software is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Texas.

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in Texas.
