Senior Litigation Attorney - Partner Level

Location:

Duties:

• Manage complex litigation cases in labor law, premises liability, and construction defect matters in the New York Metropolitan area.
• Handle all aspects of litigation from case inception to trial, including preparation of pleadings, briefs, discovery, and depositions.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing to support cases.
• Represent clients in both state and federal courts, with a focus on New York Labor Law litigation matters.
• Provide high-level legal counsel and strategy to clients throughout the litigation process.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 12+ years of experience in construction law, insurance law, labor law, and personal injury litigation.
• Significant experience handling defense litigation.
• New York Bar admission required (New Jersey and/or Connecticut Bar admission is a plus).
• Extensive experience managing litigation matters from inception through to trial.
• Strong knowledge of New York Labor Law litigation, with experience in both state and federal courts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage complex legal cases effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in the state of New York (required).
• NJ and/or CT Bar admission (preferred).

Skills:

• Expertise in defense litigation, including construction, insurance, labor law, and personal injury law.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex cases from inception to trial.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and court officials.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
