Duties:

• Client Intake & Initial Consultations:

  • Build trust with clients through compassionate communication.
  • Collect and document facts relevant to liability, damages, and coverage.
  • Outline clear action items for both the client and the firm to effectively posture the case.

• Investigation:

  • Lead investigations to support strong trial cases.
  • Evaluate insurance coverage and gather essential evidence for case development.

• Negotiation:

  • Prepare cases for trial and evaluate Full Settlement Value.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with adjusters and negotiate settlements aggressively.
  • File lawsuits when necessary and guide clients through the litigation process.

• Litigation:

  • Draft pleadings and discovery for lawsuits.
  • Prepare strategies for trials, mediations, or arbitrations.

• General Responsibilities:

  • Review and sign correspondence prepared by team members.
  • Work collaboratively to ensure cases progress efficiently through the system.

Requirements:

• Strong client advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar Membership in Virginia.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of personal injury law and litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
