Junior to Mid-level Tax Associate Attorney

A law firm based in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Tax Associate Attorney with the following responsibilities:

Duties:

• Conducting extensive legal research and analysis on various tax matters.
• Drafting legal documents including memoranda, agreements, and opinions.
• Assisting senior attorneys in transactional tax matters.
• Collaborating closely with securities and finance lawyers within the firm.
• Engaging with investment bankers, financial advisors, and government officials on tax-related issues nationwide.

Requirements:

• Admitted to practice law in California.
• Preferably 2-4 years of experience in tax law.
• Strong understanding of transactional tax principles.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Any relevant tax certifications are advantageous.

Skills:

• Proficiency in utilizing legal research tools and databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
