The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various corporate and securities documents, contributing to successful corporate transactions, conducting research, and handling regulatory matters.

Job Details:

  • Reviewing, drafting, preparing, and negotiating various corporate and securities documents, including private placement offering documents, limited liability company agreements, and fund documents.
  • Contributing to the coordination and execution of successful corporate transactions, such as purchase and sale agreements, merger agreements, license agreements, and nondisclosure agreements.
  • Supporting the corporate and securities practice group through general research, analysis, and writing.
  • Contributing to various regulatory matters, including securities, tax, aviation, banking, and communications.
  • Demonstrating excellent academic credentials.
  • Possessing 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer/client-facing skills.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
  • Strong legal research skills are required.
  • Exposure to aspects of some regulatory law preferred.
  • Must be a current member of the Alabama State Bar, or eligible for membership.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience as a Corporate and Securities Attorney.
