Job Title: Mid-Level Leasing Attorney

Job Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join its Real Estate Group. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of expertise in handling commercial leases, with a focus on fostering strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service.

Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate commercial leases and associated agreements, including term sheets, letters of intent, work letters, and SNDAs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, brokers, and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Respond to correspondence and produce deliverables promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality in all work products.
  • Meet deadlines and exceed expectations consistently.
  • Cultivate positive working relationships within the team.
  • Adhere to firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including computer work, virtual meetings, and in-person discussions.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  • Admission to practice in Georgia.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related agreements.

Certifications:

  • Bar admission in Georgia.

Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the commercial leasing market and familiarity with various lease types.
  • Experience with leasing across multiple property categories, including office, retail, industrial, and life sciences.
  • Proven experience representing landlords.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Strong analytical and writing abilities.
  • Attention to detail and good business judgment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
