Senior Litigation Counsel

A law firm in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a driven and experienced attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience in litigation, particularly personal injury law, and will be dedicated to advocating for clients.

Duties:

• Represent clients in various aspects of personal injury litigation, including but not limited to:
  • Automobile accidents
  • Commercial vehicle incidents
  • Premises liability cases
  • Wrongful death claims
  • Catastrophic injury lawsuits
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop effective legal strategies.
• Provide expert legal advice and support to clients throughout the litigation process.
• Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a litigation attorney, with a strong preference for a background in personal injury law.
• Active member in good standing with the Texas Bar Association.

Education:

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
