Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks experienced Litigation Attorneys to join its team in New York, specializing in defense matters, including medical and dental malpractice, nursing home issues, and general liability. The ideal candidates will have 3 to 6 years of litigation experience, with opportunities for trial involvement.

Duties:

• Manage written discovery and conduct party depositions.
• Engage in motion practice and represent clients in court appearances.
• Prepare for trials and assist in trial strategy development.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and participate in second-chairing trials.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.

Requirements:

• 3 to 6 years of litigation experience.
• Admission to the New York State Bar is required; New Jersey Bar licensure is a plus.
• Proven ability to handle complex legal matters and trial preparation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active bar admission in New York; New Jersey admission is beneficial.
