A law firm in Frederick, MD is seeking an experienced False Claims Act (FCA) Investigation and Litigation Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in whistleblower advocacy and FCA cases, excellent communication skills, and experience in healthcare or procurement law. The role involves complex legal analysis, case evaluation, client management, and litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, draft, and support FCA cases on a day-to-day basis.
  • Conduct complex legal analysis, research, and writing.
  • Handle case intake, analysis, evaluation, and provide recommendations.
  • Manage client relationships and maintain regular communication.
  • Litigate FCA cases in both intervened and non-intervened scenarios as part of a team of FCA litigators.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be a member in good standing of the Maryland Bar, or eligible to waive in.
  • Experience in False Claims Act or other whistleblower advocacy.
  • Judicial or Department of Justice clerkship is preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare or procurement law is a plus.
