Job Overview:

This role is ideal for an attorney with 3-6 years of experience focused on negotiating and drafting construction and design agreements. Duties:

• Negotiate, draft, and review construction-related contracts, including design and construction agreements.
• Advise clients on construction law matters and provide strategic legal counsel.
• Manage and assist with complex construction transactions across various sectors.
• Collaborate with other team members and clients to resolve issues arising in construction and design agreements.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Represent clients in disputes related to construction and design matters when necessary.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience in construction law, specifically transactional work involving construction contracts.
• Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating design and construction agreements.
• Experience in handling real estate development and public procurement matters is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage client relationships.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in the state of Ohio.
