A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Fidelity And Surety Associate Attorney for their office in Roseland, NJ.

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Fidelity And Surety Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling commercial litigation matters and should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on federal and state courts in New York and New Jersey. Experience in surety, construction litigation, and/or insurance coverage matters is highly desirable. The successful candidate must be admitted to the New Jersey and New York Bars.

Duties:

  • Conducting legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
  • Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Representing clients in federal and state courts during hearings and trials.
  • Collaborating with senior attorneys and managing case files independently.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a commercial litigator.
  • Extensive experience in federal and state courts in New York and New Jersey.
  • Strong background in surety, construction litigation, and/or insurance coverage matters.
  • Admission to the New Jersey and New York Bars.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
