Senior Workers' Compensation Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its Los Angeles office. This hybrid position provides the chance to engage in Civil Litigation with a focus on Personal Injury cases, offering ample room for professional growth. The ideal candidate will be a team player who can contribute to the firm’s positive and efficient workflow while taking on complex legal matters.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal representation for clients in Workers' Compensation matters
• Lead the development of legal strategies, including conducting thorough legal research and analyzing complex issues
• Represent clients in hearings, settlement negotiations, and other proceedings
• Collaborate with legal professionals to gather evidence, prepare cases, and build strong defenses
• Develop and implement effective strategies for handling clients’ legal issues
• Mentor and support junior attorneys and staff

Requirements:

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Workers' Compensation law
• Active member in good standing of the California State Bar
• Proven experience in civil litigation and workers' compensation matters
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple ongoing cases
• A collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach to legal work

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• California State Bar membership in good standing

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research, drafting, and case preparation
• Solid understanding of Workers' Compensation law and procedures
• Strong negotiation and settlement skills
• Ability to manage complex caseloads efficiently
