Duties

  • Represent clients in medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, and neglect cases.
  • Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and draft pleadings and motions.
  • Provide client consultations, gathering relevant case information and explaining legal options.
  • Develop case strategies and manage cases from initiation through trial or settlement.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while advocating for their best interests.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel professionally and effectively.
  • Maintain and organize case files in accordance with firm standards.
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law, specifically in medical malpractice and nursing home abuse cases.
  • Strong understanding of medical malpractice law, healthcare regulations, and nursing home abuse statutes.
  • Proven experience in trial preparation and case management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • NJ Bar admission required.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
