Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney for their Philadelphia, PA, location.

Job Overview: The Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney will play a pivotal role in the firm's legal strategy, demonstrating excellence in research, writing, and oral advocacy. They will engage in various aspects of litigation, including client interaction, court appearances, deposition proceedings, and drafting legal documents.

Duties:

• Develop and implement legal strategies for commercial litigation cases.
• Draft persuasive legal memoranda, analysis, and reasoning.
• Participate in client meetings and maintain effective communication.
• Conduct research and prepare legal documents, including motions and briefs.
• Attend court hearings and proceedings, representing clients as needed.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on case management.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
• Previous experience litigating in state and/or federal courts.
• Admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
