Job Overview: A law firm in North Charleston, SC seeks an experienced Real Estate Closing Attorney to join a dedicated team specializing in real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing various aspects of residential and commercial closings and nurturing client relationships, ensuring seamless transaction processes.

Duties:

  • Supervise and manage residential and commercial real estate closings
  • Conduct title reviews and resolve any related issues
  • Collaborate effectively with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate transactions
  • Draft and review legal documents including contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase and sale agreements
  • Provide clients with professional guidance, addressing questions and concerns
  • Review disbursement ledgers and authorize checks
  • Build and maintain business relationships to promote firm growth
  • Lead training sessions for clients on relevant aspects of real estate law

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in residential real estate closings preferred
  • Active member in good standing of the South Carolina State Bar
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients
  • Self-motivated with a focus on community engagement and achieving objectives
  • Willingness to grow and adapt with a focus on residential real estate

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:
