Duties:

  • Review and interpret statutes and case law to provide advice on legal matters and case strategies
  • Draft and analyze contracts, agreements, and pleadings for court filings
  • Attend and represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff in a timely and professional manner
  • Organize and manage case documents, deadlines, and follow-up tasks
  • Maintain proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ensure efficient case management and handle multiple priorities effectively
  • Contribute to the firm’s client service goals by demonstrating attention to detail and legal expertise
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Florida
  • Legal experience, with a focus on family law and civil litigation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with legal software, such as MyCase, is a plus

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
