As a key member of the team, the attorney will utilize their expertise to maximize case outcomes while providing exceptional client service. Duties:

  • Conduct initial client meetings to establish trust, and gather pertinent information regarding liability, damages, and coverage.
  • Oversee and direct investigations to strengthen cases for trial, ensuring all necessary evidence is collected.
  • Assess insurance coverage and work with adjusters to negotiate the best possible settlement or proceed with litigation when required.
  • Prepare case documentation including pleadings, discovery, and trial prep.
  • Engage in aggressive yet strategic negotiations to resolve claims, achieving optimal settlement outcomes.
  • Manage litigation processes from start to finish, including mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure seamless case progression and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain a high standard of communication with clients, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout the legal process.

Requirements:

  • Excellent negotiation and litigation skills, with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Strong investigative abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload and meet deadlines efficiently.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar membership in New Jersey.

Certifications:

  • Bar license in New Jersey.
