Experienced Family Law Associate

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Family Law Associate on behalf of a prominent law firm located in Potomac, MD. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of litigation experience, along with an active Maryland Bar and D.C. Bar membership (Virginia Bar is a plus). Duties:

• Represent clients in family law matters, focusing on litigation.
• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies based on client goals and priorities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive legal support.
• Maintain strong interpersonal relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents as needed.
• Stay updated on changes in family law and related regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in family law.
• Active membership in the Maryland Bar and D.C. Bar (Virginia Bar is a plus).
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to think creatively.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Maryland Bar License (required).
• Active D.C. Bar License (required).
• Virginia Bar License (preferred).
