The ideal candidate will work closely with other attorneys on various legal projects, handle court appearances and depositions, and provide regular updates to clients. The position requires strong communication, writing, and research skills, with a preference for experience in general liability and workers' compensation cases.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with other attorneys on legal projects, contributing to case strategy and preparation.
  • Represent clients in court appearances, including motion hearings, status conferences, and trials.
  • Conduct depositions and manage all aspects of deposition preparation and follow-up.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing status reports and updates on case progress.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case development and client advice.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and effective case management.

Requirements:

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice in Alabama.
  • 2+ years of insurance defense litigation experience preferred.
  • Experience with general liability and workers' compensation cases is preferred.
  • Proven experience with depositions and trial preparation is preferred.
  • Superior communication, writing, and research skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
