Immigration Attorney

Job Title: Immigration Attorney (Hybrid - Pittsburgh, PA)

Job Overview:
A reputable law firm located in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join their growing team. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely 1-2 days per week. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various areas of business immigration law and possess the necessary skills to manage both client relationships and complex immigration matters. The firm is open to considering candidates for a full-time or temporary reduced billable hour arrangement.

Duties:

• Lead and manage a team of paralegals, providing guidance and training.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of non-immigrant (L, H, TN, O, E) and immigrant (PERM, I-130, EB1a, b & c, I-140, I-485) petitions and applications to government agencies and consulates.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, offering updates on case status and relevant legal developments.
• Represent clients at USCIS interviews held at the Pittsburgh Field Office.
• Stay informed on the latest changes in business immigration law and regulatory updates.
• Advise clients on I-9 and E-Verify compliance, as well as corporate immigration policies and strategies.
• Provide counsel and guidance during the PERM labor certification process.
• Foster and develop strong professional relationships with clients and team members.

Requirements:

• Active Bar license in good standing.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Comprehensive knowledge of business immigration law, including H-1B, L-1, E-2, O-1, TN, PERM, priority worker petitions, and family immigration matters.
• Previous experience advising clients in a variety of industries on immigration compliance and strategy.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team and with clients.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education:

• JD from a U.S.-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar license (must be from the U.S. - no foreign LLMs).
