As a litigation attorney, you will manage a large caseload from filing through trial, with the support of a dedicated team. Duties:

• Oversee 80-90 active litigation cases, handling all phases from filing suit to discovery, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and medical providers to ensure timely and effective case resolution.
• Lead a team of two paralegals, ensuring efficient case management and progress.
• Manage case settlements and the disbursement of funds to clients, lien holders, and medical providers.
• Engage in case strategy discussions and collaborate with senior leadership on complex matters.

Requirements:

• Active or pending Bar license in Texas (other state licenses are a plus).
• 2-4 years of personal injury litigation experience, including first-chair trial work.
• Proven experience in depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Strong communication skills, both with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to manage multiple cases while working independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas (or pending).

Skills:

• Litigation experience, including trial preparation and client management.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle complex cases and communicate effectively with all parties involved.
• Leadership skills to manage and direct paralegal teams.
• Time management and organizational skills to handle a high caseload.
