Duties and Responsibilities

• Represent clients in litigation matters, including preparing for and participating in court proceedings.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing updates and advice throughout the litigation process.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to formulate case strategies and arguments.
• Manage case files and ensure timely completion of all case-related tasks and deadlines.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary.
• Negotiate settlements and work towards favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in litigation.
• Strong communication, legal advocacy, and writing skills.
• Federal Court experience is preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be a self-starter who can manage multiple cases and responsibilities simultaneously.
• A valid New York Bar license is required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
