Sacramento office of our client seeks a personal injury litigation associate attorney with 2 years of experience in personal injury or general litigation or have participated in a Federal or State clerkship. The candidate will work closely with clients, teams, and team leaders to develop evidence for plaintiff-only personal injury in claims and lawsuits. Will write settlement demand letters and prepare cases during pre-litigation, litigation, and settlement. Draft pleadings, complaints, discovery, motions, and other court filings with various State and Federal Courts; conduct research on a variety of novel legal issues in State and Federal cases; present and argue motions. Manage the full court approval process for personal injury cases, including drafting personal injury approval motions and presenting approval motions to the Court. Manage the filing of pleadings, tracking service of process, and assuring SOL deadlines are met. Manage own caseload, with the opportunity to become a team leader with potential for generous bonuses for team leaders. Opportunity to be first chair trial attorney on select individual cases; numerous second chair trial opportunities in personal injury cases. Must be highly proficient in Microsoft suite and demonstrated comfort with technology, including case management software. California Bar Admission is requiredadmissions in other states are a plus.

The candidate should be a team player: willing to work collaboratively with all staff members. A caring and compassionate attitude with clients consistent with the firm's core values is required. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. A growth mindset and eagerness to become an invaluable team member are required. The ability to analyze and calculate damages stemming from personal injury cases is needed. Strong time management and multitasking skills - must be able to simultaneously manage multiple projects in a busy (and supportive) environment. Must have high attention to detail and superior organizational skills. The desire to market and grow its source of case referrals is required.
