A law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join their team in Fort Wayne, IN. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of transactional experience in energy, renewable, transportation, and social infrastructure projects. This role requires excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and strong academic credentials.

 

Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate EPC contracts, P3 agreements, CMAR agreements, subcontractor and supply agreements, and various other commercial contracting and project finance documents.
  • Provide legal advice and support on transactional matters related to energy, renewable, transportation, and social infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their legal needs and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transactional work and client advisories.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in all transactional activities.
  • Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and other relevant engagements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives for clients.
  • Review and interpret complex legal documents and contracts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

 

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of transactional experience in relevant sectors (energy, renewable, transportation, and social infrastructure).
  • Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex legal documents and contracts.
  • Excellent writing skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Indiana State Bar or eligibility for admission by reciprocity.
