Duties

  • Handle renewable energy project finance transactions, with a focus on tax credit matters.

  • Conduct due diligence reviews for renewable energy projects.
  • Oversee the review process by subject-matter specialists and ensure transactions are closed effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet the strategic goals of the Energy Sector.
  • Engage in business development activities to support the firm’s growth plans in the energy practice.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of transactional experience in renewable energy projects.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy project finance and tax credit transactions.
  • Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documents.
  • Demonstrated success in managing client expectations and delivering under tight timelines.
  • Experience with due diligence processes and managing cross-disciplinary reviews.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Must be in good standing and an active member of the NM Bar.
