Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and legal guidance on patent matters to clients and internal teams.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in patent law affecting the Life Sciences sector.

Requirements

  • USPTO registration as a Patent Agent.
  • At least 3 years of direct patent prosecution experience in the Life Sciences field.
  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven expertise in molecular biology is highly desirable.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise patent documents.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
