Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney for its San Francisco, CA office.

Job Overview: The Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of intellectual property litigation matters. This includes conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, participating in discovery processes, and representing clients in court proceedings.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research on intellectual property laws and precedents
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Assist in discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts as necessary
• Provide legal analysis and strategic advice to clients on intellectual property matters

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of experience in intellectual property litigation
• Experience with soft IP, including trade secrets
• Bachelor's degree and/or an advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer science preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Track record of insightful research and analysis
• Persuasive writing abilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Illinois, California, New York, or District of Columbia Bar, active and in good standing
