Capital Markets Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Capital Markets Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience in equity and/or debt capital markets for its office in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will possess major law firm experience, a strong commitment to excellent client service, and significant experience in public securities offerings, including both equity and debt. The candidate must also possess excellent academic credentials, superior communication and organizational skills, and a bar membership in MA state.

Duties:

  • Handle public securities offerings, including both equity and debt
  • Provide legal counsel on capital market transactions and regulatory compliance
  • Draft and review transactional documents, including prospectuses, offering memoranda, and securities filings
  • Advise clients on SEC reporting obligations and other regulatory requirements
  • Assist with corporate governance matters related to capital market activities
  • Conduct due diligence and prepare disclosure documents for capital market transactions
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals on complex transactions

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in equity and/or debt capital markets
  • Significant experience in public securities offerings
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a motivated, entrepreneurial outlook
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Superior communication and organizational skills
  • Bar membership in the state of Massachusetts

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar
