Duties

• Attend court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case progress and updates.
• Handle legal matters involving self-insured clients and municipalities.

Requirements

• Admittance to the New York State Bar (mandatory).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in general liability defense litigation.
• Admittance to federal court, New Jersey, or Connecticut bar (preferred).
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures and case management.
• Excellent deposition and courtroom skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in New York (required).
• Additional certifications in federal courts or other state jurisdictions (preferred but not required).
