Job Overview:

A distinguished law firm based in Cincinnati, OH is in search of a talented Litigation Associate to join its high-performing team focused on mass injury and complex civil matters. This role involves working on large-scale tort cases that often present novel legal questions, demanding a strategic, research-intensive, and collaborative approach. The selected attorney will support seasoned litigators on multifaceted litigation efforts across jurisdictions, contributing to all stages of case development from discovery to resolution.

Duties:

  • Assist in the management of nationwide product liability and mass injury dockets

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and draft substantive pleadings, motions, and memoranda

  • Support trial preparation, including deposition outlines, witness prep, and evidentiary planning

  • Participate in case strategy development and collaborate closely with senior counsel

  • Communicate with clients, experts, and co-counsels regarding case status and discovery issues

  • Contribute to the coordination of multi-district litigation or consolidated proceedings

  • Analyze and summarize voluminous case files and technical documentation

  • Provide innovative legal solutions to complex fact patterns

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in civil litigation, preferably with exposure to mass tort or complex litigation

  • Familiarity with managing document-intensive cases and e-discovery platforms

  • Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to handle a fast-paced litigation docket

  • Strong interpersonal communication and case organization skills

  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio or eligible for admission

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in Ohio (or ability to obtain promptly)
